What is the story about?
Dhurandhar films have crossed Rs 3000 crore worldwide. In a new milestone, the Aditya Dhar-directed two-part franchise has set a new benchmark and joined
a box-office club by achieving this feat. This makes the Ranveer Singh-starrer the first Indian film series to cross the massive global threshold. The combined collections of Dhurandhar (2025) and Dhurandhar: The Revenge or Dhurandhar 2 (2026) have now overtaken previous blockbusters like Baahubali and Pushpa, maintaining a momentum at more than Rs 3020 crore, and counting. Dhurandhar is also the only Indian film series to have two films in the 1000 crores club each.

Dhurandhar's theatrical run
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar released its part 1 in December 2025. The spy thriller blew up within days and started its journey of unleashing mayhem at the Indian and overseas box office. Within days, it went on to become the highest-grossing film at the Hindi box office. Amassing more than Rs 840 crore net (Rs 1000+ crore gross), it kept its stronghold for weeks. It wrapped up its lifetime theatrical run with over Rs 1300 crores, making it the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of all-time.
Dhurandhar 2 turns a juggernaut
The movie followed up with the release of its part 2, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and with a bigger explosion just four months after its predecessor. Keeping the stakes high, Dhurandhar 2 took things a notch higher and started breaking records from day 1. The worldwide box office turned into a playing field as the juggernaut crossed Rs 1700 crore globally. This made Dhurandhar 2, not only the biggest Hindi net grosser of all time, but it also emerged as the first film ever to top Rs 1000 crores net in a single language (Hindi) at the Indian box office.
The combined worth of the Dhurandhar duology has kept cash registers ringing, and an exceptional performance in both domestic and international markets has pushed the franchise way past the historic Rs 3000 crore milestone.
