it. The actress discussed why the Amazon Prime Video film was different in a new interview on the red carpet for the 83rd Golden Globes. She walked the red carpet in a navy blue Dior gown with her date for the night, husband Nick Jonas. At the ceremony, she presented an award for best performance by a male actor in a TV series drama with Blackpink's Lisa to The Pitt's Noah Wyle.
Priyanka Chopra teases pirate role in Hollywood film
The Varanasi star's next film is out on February 25 on Amazon Prime Video. Executive produced by Avengers: Doomsday directors Joe and Anthony Russo, The Bluff is a swashbuckling pirate thriller. Speaking with the Associated Press (AP) on the red carpet, Priyanka teased, "It's my first as a producer here which is very exciting. I get to play a part which is not very common for women, which is a female pirate. So many of them existed in the 1800s. We’re going with a rated ‘ARR’, it’s going to be a bloody movie and it’s going to be fun."
Directed by Frank E. Flowers, The Bluff also stars The Boys star Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, Temuera Morrison, and Zack Morris. Priyanka replaced Zoe Saldana in the role of Ercell Bodden, a former pirate in the late 19th century Caribbean, who tries to protect her family when her past catches up to her.

Besides The Bluff, Priyanka is also gearing up for her return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli's Telugu film Varanasi. She plays Mandakini in the 2027 film, also starring Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Prakash Raj.
