Ayushmann Khurrana recently completed the first schedule of Sooraj Barjatya's next. The actor will be seen playing the role of Prem in the film, which
is reportedly titled Yeh Prem Mol Liya. Ayushmann is already impressed by the humility of Sooraj. He mentioned, in an interview, that the filmmaker is simple and hard-working despite being a successful director.

In conversation with Mid-Day, Ayushmann praised his upcoming film's director. "He works like a nerd, and that inspires me the most," he said.
The actor further shared the best part of his character in Sooraj's upcoming film. "The best part of a Sooraj Barjatya film is that the hero is always a quintessential green flag. I usually love portraying characters who are flawed and have an arc, but here, the entire family is a green flag," added Ayushmann.

Ayushmann Khurrana on doing films like Thamma
The Bollywood actor revealed why he is doing films like Thamma and Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. Ayushmann stated that he does it for wider audience as he also wishes to do films like Andhadhun and Article 15.
"I believe An Action Hero [2022] could have done better. So, I’m mixing up genres — commercial films with projects that are unique. You have to gain the audience’s faith. That’s what I tried to build with Dream Girl 2 [2023] and Thamma. That will get translated to my other films as well," he added.
Ayushmann Khurrana's work front
On the work front, Ayushmann was last seen in Maddock Films' Thamma with Rashmika Mandanna. It was theatrically released on Diwali this year.
