Hanuman Ansh is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office as it enters the seventh week of its theatrical run. The Vishal Chaturvedi-directed
spiritual drama witnessed a substantial jump in business on Sunday, September 20, taking its worldwide gross collection to Rs 347.05 crore. The film stars Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand in pivotal roles and is a biopic of the spiritual guru Neem Karoli Baba. According to trade website Sacnilk, Hanuman Ansh earned Rs 13.75 crore nett in India on Day 45 from 7,628 shows. The Neem Karoli Baba film had recorded Rs 9.75 crore nett on Saturday, meaning its domestic business grew by approximately 41 per cent in a single day. With the latest collection, the Vishal Chaturvedi film's India nett total has climbed to Rs 271.88 crore. The film's India gross collection currently stands at Rs 321.05 crore. It added another Rs 1.50 crore from overseas markets on Day 45, taking its cumulative overseas gross to Rs 26 crore. Combining its domestic and international earnings, Hanuman Ansh has now reached Rs 347.05 crore worldwide. At its current pace, the film is on course to cross the Rs 350 crore worldwide milestone on Monday, September 21.
Hanuman Ansh records strong seventh-weekend growth
The film's performance over the latest three days highlights the extraordinary momentum it has developed in the later stages of its theatrical run. Hanuman Ansh earned Rs 5 crore nett on Day 43 before jumping to Rs 9.75 crore on Saturday. Sunday brought another significant increase, with the film adding Rs 13.75 crore.
The Hindi 2D version registered an overall occupancy of 45.46 per cent on Day 45. Evening shows recorded the strongest occupancy at 62.23 per cent, while afternoon screenings registered 54.54 per cent. Night shows had 37.23 per cent occupancy, followed by morning shows at 27.85 per cent.
Hanuman Ansh box office collection: Week-wise breakdown
Hanuman Ansh initially opened to modest numbers but witnessed a dramatic turnaround from its third week onwards. The film earned Rs 1.08 crore in its first week and Rs 40 lakh in Week 2. Its third-week collection rose to Rs 10.40 crore, before the film delivered a major Rs 61 crore haul in Week 4. The momentum continued in Week 5, which contributed Rs 90.25 crore, while Week 6 added another Rs 80.25 crore. With Rs 271.88 crore nett from India, the film's domestic gross has reached Rs 321.05 crore. Its Rs 26 crore overseas collection has taken the worldwide gross to Rs 347.05 crore.
