Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli purchased yet another land in Alibaug. According to reports, the couple acquired a lavish land parcel in the coastal town
of Maharashtra’s Konkan with the two adjoining plots together measuring over 5.19 acres. Reportedly, the land is situated in Raigad district’s Zirad village. Anushka and Virat paid Rs 37.86 crore for the land acquisition. Currently, the celebrity couple has left India to settle down in London. Anushka, an actress, and Virat, a cricketer, have two children: a five-year-old daughter, Vamika, and a son, Akaay. They often visit India, but won’t be living here permanently, as the parents choose a normal upbringing for their children.

CRE Matrix, a realty data analytics platform, revealed that Anushka and Virat’s second land parcel deal was locked on January 13, 2026. The transaction was registered, and stamp duty of about Rs 2.27 crore was also paid. Reportedly, one of the plots acquired by the couple is around 3.6 acres, while the second measures 1.55 acres.
Anushka and Virat's Alibaug mansion
In 2022, Anushka and Virat purchased their first plot in Alibaug. As reported by Mint, the mansion has been built on an 8-acre plot, which was purchased for around Rs 19 crore in 2022. The 10,000-square-foot villa includes a temperature-controlled pool, bespoke kitchen, four bathrooms, a jacuzzi, a sprawling garden, covered parking, staff quarters, and more.
The holiday villa was designed tastefully for the couple by the globally renowned Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA), led by Phillippe Fouche. Reportedly, Kohli spent an additional Rs 10.5 crore to Rs 13 crore on the construction of the luxurious abode. The property is situated 10 minutes from Mandwa Jetty.
Anushka and Virat's professional commitments
While Virat is active in just a few cricket formats, Anushka has taken a sabbatical from acting. She shot for Chakda Xpress after the birth of Vamika, but the film is yet to release on Netflix. It has been put on the back burner due to multiple issues.
