Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, was hospitalised on February 17 after he suffered a minimal brain haemorrhage. Following that, the doctors conducted
a medical procedure at the Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai. Dr Jalil Parkar also issued an official statement on the legendary screenwriter's health. Post that, it was reported that the hospital authorities would refrain from sharing any further updates. Now, in an interview, Salman's Jai Ho co-star, Daisy Shah, has confirmed that the veteran screenwriter is 'out of danger'.

In an interview with Filmygyan, Daisy revealed that she has been in constant touch with Salman's family. The actress revealed that she couldn't meet Salim Khan in the hospital. However, she assured that he is doing fine. "But I am constantly in touch with Salman sir and his family. Salim Sir is fine now. He is stable. The surgery went well, it was a success and he is under observation, but he is out of danger," she revealed.
After Salim Khan was admitted, several celebrities like Aamir Khan, Gauri Spratt, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, and several others visited the hospital to check on his health. A few days after the hospital authorities issued a public statement. Variety India reported that the Khan family was displeased with it. Salman and his family reportedly conveyed to the hospital staff that they do not want any further details disclosed.
"Health is a private matter. Ideally, no updates should be shared with the media and any communication should be left entirely to the family, if and when they choose to address fans and well-wishers," a source close to the family revealed. Since then, the hospital staff hasn't shared Salim Khan's health update in the public domain.

The film was scheduled for a theatrical release on Eid this year. However, the war drama's release is likely to be delayed.
