What is the story about?
Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty’s Border 2 promises to celebrate the armed forces. Honouring the Indian soldiers, Air Force officers
and Naval authorities, it is inspired by multiple real-life events. After launching the first song, titled Ghar Kab Aaoge, the makers have recreated Border’s popular track Jaate Hue Lamhon. It will be launched on January 12. Originally sung by Roopkumar Rathod, the romantic song will be unveiled in the presence of army personnel and their family members. Border 2 is releasing in theatres on January 23. Kesari director Anurag Singh has helmed the film based on the India-Pakistan war.
Jaate Hue Lamhon song launch
Jaate Hue Lamhon is touted to be a deeply emotional and soulful composition. It will be unveiled before an audience of nearly 10,000 to 12,000 army personnel along with their families in Khasa, Amritsar. The song is set to be launched by Sunny, Varun and Ahan along with the makers of Border 2. The original track was picturised on Suniel Shetty and Sharbani Mukerji, the cousin of Kajol, Rani Mukerji and Ayan Mukerji.
Before Jaate Hue Lamhon, the makers of Border 2 launched Ghar Kab Aaoge with BSF officers and their families at Longewala-Tanot in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, on January 2. Producer Nidhi Dutta penned a note that read, “Ghar kab aaoge/ Sandese Aate Hain releases today. A song that was created 29 years ago by the Genius of my father JP Dutta, Javed Saab, Anu Mallik, Sonu Nigam & Roop Kumar Rathod. Today we have Re envisioned it... not to change something that's beyond perfect but to simply add more Stories of Our Soldiers & Their Families longing for them back home. Same Emotions, Lyrics that Echo The Heartache of New Characters but the Same Immortal Melody. I Hope the Audiences feel the same about this one as they have the first version for all these years. A Power Packed Team backing this one... But Also just a Daughter trying to take her father's legacy and make him proud. Give this song all the love. This one's for you Papa & for Our Armed Forces.”
