What is the story about?
Zubeen Garg's cousin Sandipan Garg, a cop in Assam, has been arrested with regard to the singer's suspicious death on September 19 in Singapore. Sandipan,
an Assam Police Service (APS) officer, was nabbed on Wednesday, October 8. As per reports, he was allegedly present at the location when the unfortunate incident on a yatch took Zubeen's life.

Sandipan was taken into custody after several rounds of interrogations were conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) with several people close to Zubeen. His arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation. He will ow be brought before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court.
Zubeen Garg's wife Garima Garg had recently said that she suspects everyone who was with the late singer during the time of his death.

The Assamese artist's sudden demise following a scuba-diving mishap in Singapore at the age of 52, has left the entire music fraternity and India's entertainment industry mourning. He was there for the NorthEast India Festival
Zubeen was cremated in Kamarkuchi village on September 23 with full state honours. According to the first post-mortem, he died of drowning while swimming in Singapore during a yacht outing.
