Riding on phenomenal advance bookings, exceptional occupancy across languages and massive fan anticipation, the superhero spectacle earned an estimated Rs 60.60 crore net on its first day. With a gross collection of Rs 72.44 crore, the film has delivered a record-breaking start and established itself as the biggest Hollywood opener ever at the Indian box office.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has taken the Indian box office by storm, with Tom Holland's latest outing as the beloved web-slinger recording the biggest opening day ever for a Hollywood release in the country. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film collected an impressive Rs 60.60 crore net across all languages on Day 1. Including taxes, its India gross collection stands at Rs 72.44 crore.
With this, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has surpassed the previous record held by Avengers: Endgame, which had opened to Rs 53.10 crore net in India in 2019. The newest Spidey film was released on an extensive 17,250 shows across the country, ensuring wide accessibility for moviegoers. Massive advance bookings and strong word of mouth translated into packed theatres from the very first show.
The English version contributed the highest share of the earnings, collecting Rs 32.25 crore net from 7,987 shows while recording an occupancy of approximately 55%. The Hindi dubbed version was one of the biggest highlights of the opening day. It collected Rs 22 crore net across 6,977 shows while registering a phenomenal 95% occupancy, underlining Spider-Man's growing appeal among Hindi-speaking audiences.
The Telugu version also delivered an impressive performance, earning Rs 3.25 crore from 995 shows with an occupancy of around 65%. Meanwhile, the Tamil version collected Rs 3 crore across 1,168 shows while maintaining a healthy occupancy of 66%. The Malayalam version contributed Rs 0.07 crore, while the Kannada version earned Rs 0.03 crore from 60 shows.
