Shah Rukh Khan has announced UNIFYD Festival, a new music and culture event that will bring together some of India's biggest musical talents. The festival is scheduled to take place on March 20, 2027, at Etihad Live on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.
Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam and Karan Aujla will headline the inaugural edition of the festival. The day-long event will feature a multi-stage setup, with 15 artists expected to perform. The organisers are expected to announce additional names in the lineup in the coming weeks. According to a press release, UNIFYD aims to bring together audiences from India, the Middle East and the wider global South Asian community through music and cultural experiences.
About UNIFYD Festival
The festival has been curated by Shah Rukh Khan and will be produced by D'YAVOL Live, the live entertainment and cultural division of the luxury collective D'YAVOL, alongside District, an entertainment and ticketing platform.
The event is being organised in collaboration with Miral and Experience Abu Dhabi, with Emirates NBD as an associate partner. The inaugural edition will take place in the UAE, although the organisers have indicated that the festival has global ambitions, with plans to expand into other cities worldwide.
Speaking about the festival, Shah Rukh Khan said, "I've spent a lifetime telling stories on screen and watching them bring people together. Music has that same extraordinary power." He added that UNIFYD, produced by D'YAVOL Live alongside District, would bring India's leading artists together on a shared stage, promising a spectacle in terms of scale, energy and grandeur.
D'YAVOL co-founder Bunty Singh highlighted the growing international reach of Indian music and said the festival aims to provide a platform that reflects its cultural influence. He added that the lineup, production and overall experience had been designed to match the scale of the occasion. District CEO Rahul Ganjoo also emphasised the festival's cultural significance, noting that Indian culture extends beyond individual genres and generations. He said the event aims to create an experience for audiences and the diaspora that stays with them beyond the performances.

Music fans planning to attend UNIFYD Festival can access tickets through the District app. Early access for Emirates NBD cardholders will begin on October 19, 2026, at 9:30 am GST (11 am IST) and continue until October 20, 2026, at 9:30 am GST (11 am IST). General ticket sales will open on October 20, 2026, at 10:30 am GST (12 pm IST). With Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam and Karan Aujla leading the inaugural lineup, UNIFYD Festival is set to bring together different sounds and generations of Indian music in Abu Dhabi.
