According to a report, SRK watched Dhurandhar The Revenge a day before its theatrical release, making him among the first people to see the highly anticipated sequel. The private screening also brought together a few familiar Bollywood names, adding another interesting layer to the story.

Shah Rukh Khan recently returned with an Ask SRK session on X after nearly 10-and-a-half months, giving fans updates about his upcoming film King. During the interaction, a fan asked him if he had watched Dhurandhar. SRK replied, “Loved both the parts....fantastic by the whole team!!!”
According to a source cited by Bollywood Hungama, Shah Rukh Khan watched Dhurandhar The Revenge a day before its theatrical release. The source revealed that SRK himself asked director Aditya Dhar to arrange a screening, which the filmmaker reportedly did for the superstar.
The screening reportedly took place at a preview theatre owned by Salman Khan. Shah Rukh Khan attended the private screening with his entire family, while Karan Johar also joined him. The source, however, did not know whether Salman Khan himself was present for the screening. Interestingly, this is the same preview theatre where Salman Khan had earlier shown a rough cut of his upcoming film Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace to several members of the film industry. The screening was attended by Subhash Ghai, David Dhawan, Sooraj Barjatya, Kabir Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Rumy Jafry and Siddharth Roy Kapur, among others. Director Apoorva Lakhia and Chitrangda Singh were also present.

Following the screening, Shah Rukh Khan reportedly spoke to Aditya Dhar and told the filmmaker how much he enjoyed Dhurandhar The Revenge. The source added that Dhar was touched by the feedback from SRK. The Dhurandhar franchise stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi and others. The story follows an Indian spy who infiltrates Pakistan and the criminal underworld of Lyari in Karachi, gradually rising through its ranks while carrying out his mission.
