What is the story about?
Sharvari is just four films old and has already smitten the entire nation with her graceful screen presence. Taras, the chartbuster song from Munjya (2024),
made her a national crush and since then, there’s no looking back for the actress. Now, as she gears up for the release of her fifth film, Main Vaapas Aaunga, Sharvari revealed whether she experienced the preconceived notion that beauty takes priority over talent in the film industry. In an exclusive interview with us (Times Now), the actress reacted when asked whether women face such challenges more often than men.
Sharvari reacts to whether she observed beauty over talent notion in Bollywood
Sharvari told us, “I am not aware of what an actor goes through because I have never been in their spot. I am sure they must be having their own complexities. I don’t see it like that and never thought of this. In the time that we are in right now, what matters the most is the actor that you are. Everyone is trying to be better at that.”
She further added, “Looks change in every film. There is so much diversity today with prosthetics. You can look like a completely new person in every film. People do accept it if you look like a normal person in a film. In today’s time, I believe what is accepted is the actor you are and the craft you bring to the table.”
Sharvari presented her perspective by saying, “If I am to speak for myself, I give importance to learning about the part rather than anything else. Everything else is secondary.”
