Kangana Ranaut and Chirag Paswan's relationship rumours spread like wildfire after they shared a light-hearted moment before entering the Parliament in Delhi.
Ever since, gossip mills have been abuzz with the speculations. Kangana is currently a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Chirag has been serving as the Union Minister of Food Processing Industries since June 2024. They have even worked together in a film called Miley Na Miley Hum. Now, in a podcast with ANI, the actress has finally reacted to rumours of her relationship with Chirag.

Speaking to the news agency, Kangana dismissed her relationship speculations with Chirag and clarified that he is a just a 'friend'. The actress added that when she sees him, she thinks of a friend. "There's no romance happening, let me be honest. We know each other for like... He did his film with me 10 years ago. Agar romance hota toh aaj humare bachche hote."
The Bollywood actress mentioned that if she wanted to have romance, it would've happened. However, nothing is happening on that end. Kangana stated that there's a friendly vibe, which ones gets from someone who belongs from the same industry (film industry in their case). "So I feel very good around him," she added. In the past, the duo worked together in Miley Na Miley Hum, which was directed by Tanveer Khan. It marked Chirag's acting debut and also featured Neeru Bajwa and Sagarika Ghatge.
Kangana Ranaut backs Deepika Padukone over 8-hour shift demand
In the same conversation, Kangana came out in support of Deepika Padukone over her 8-hour shift demand. The actress expressed that no issue should be created out of Deepika's demand considering where she is coming from and the fact that she has earned that place. Kangana added that the Padmaavat actress has a daughter, is a mother and also the topmost actress. "If today she is keen to work for eight hours, she has earned it," mentioned Kangana.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana was last seen in Emergency. It was the biopic for former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Up next, the actress has a few projects lined up. The shooting for her film, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, is currently underway. It was announced in 2024. Apart from that, she will be seen in the sequel to Queen, which was theatrically released in 2014.
