What is the story about?
Jolly LLB 3 reportedly landed in trouble just two days before its theatrical release. The makers of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi's film were reportedly asked
to pay VPF by the multiplex PVR Inox. But when the makers apparently refused, the multiplex allegedly threatened to stall the release. It is set to arrive in cinemas on September 19, 2025. The latest development is that the advance booking has begun.
Jolly LLB 3's advance booking begins?
A trade source informed Bollywood Hungama that the Jolly LLB 3 makers were expected to pay VPF to the multiplex. However, they insisted that the film should be released without VPF.
"For a long time, every producer has to pay Virtual Print Fee (VPF) to every theatre where their film gets screened. However, Hollywood studios have been exempted from paying this fee," the source said.

The source further told the entertainment portal, "Accordingly, the India verticals of these Hollywood giants, too, haven’t paid VPF. Jolly LLB 3 belongs to Star Studio18, which is a part of Disney and Viacom. As a result, it was expected that it would also get the VPF waiver. However, PVR Inox insisted that they should pay the VPF like the other production houses of the country."
Is Jolly LLB 3 v/s multiplex resolved?
According to the media report, the Jolly LLB 3 makers and PVR Inox are yet to reach the consensus. That said, the advance booking for the film was restarted on September 18 morning. It remains to be seen if the makers will pay VPF or enjoy the waiver.
