Badshah picks between Dhurandhar and Avatar 3
On Decembe 31, Badshah took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, and wrote, "If life gives you 3 hours 30 minutes, watch Dhurandhar, not Avatar." Badshah unabashedly chose Dhurandhar over James Cameron's recent release Avatar: Fire And Ash, that has been overshadowed by the former in India.
Fans were quick to react to Badshah's words. A X user commented, "Whole personality right now is ‘interval kab aayega?’ but for Dhurandhar, worth it." Another one gave a cheeky reply, "3 hour 30 minutes in Navi Mumbai traffic vs 3 hour 30 minutes with Dhurandhar… easy choice" A third one wrote, "If cinema halls had a ‘commitment’ badge, anyone watching Dhurandhar on a weekday night would unlock it instantly."
Bollywood lauds Dhurandhar
Several Bollywood celebs have sided with Dhurandhar, lauding the movie for its storytelling, direction and performances. Karan Johar had in a recent interview said, "I was like, blown away by Dhurandhar, it makes you feel like, oh my craft is limited. Oh my god, look at the use of background music. What I loved about Dhurandhar was that I didn’t feel that the director was self-aware. I felt like he wasn’t trying to show off his craft, and yet he was seamlessly telling you the story."
