Indian celebrities and their Maha Shivratri 2026 wishes
Ajay Devgn shared a portrait where he himself is seen worshiping Lord Shiva as he is surrounded by various devotees. Along with the picture, he wrote, "Har Har Mahadev."
Raghav Chadha went on to write 7 to 8 lines to Shiva on the festival in Devanagari language. The translation to the message is, "Shiva is the beginning, the eternal, and the infinite. Shiva is the soul, the inner self, and the supreme consciousness. Shiva represents renunciation, penance, and meditation. Shiva symbolizes valor, glory, and the highest form of simplicity. So innocent that he is called Bholenath, and so fierce that he becomes Kaalbhairav to destroy evil and unrighteousness. Heartfelt wishes to everyone on the sacred festival of Mahashivratri, dedicated to the worship of Mahadev, the God of gods. Kareena Kapoor also shared a beautiful picture of the holy Shivling as she wrote, "Wish you all Mahadev's love and light. Happy Maha Shivratri."
Varanasi actor Mahesh Babu has also uploaded a picture wishing his fans and followers with a poster which also read the name of his much-anticipated film with Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
