As September turns into October, there are several Indian titles releasing for viewers of all genres. Up first is Ohh My Dog releasing on Netflix on October 1.
The canine drama stars Pankaj Tripathi and Pavan Malhotra and follows two missing cases, one of an indie dog named Momo and another of a young labourer from Bihar. On October 2, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Arjun Das as rival dating app founders, Tara and Matthew, who also happen to be single in the Tamil rom-com #Love on Netflix. Finally, the long-delayed Hindi film, Pooja Meri Jaan releases on Zee5 on October 2 as well. Directed by Navjot Gulati, it features Mrunal Thakur as the title character who is accused of jilting a suitor and abetting his death by suicide. Huma Qureshi stars as Pooja's lawyer and pillar of support, Sana.

Cathy clashes with men from the Trask family, especially Adam (Christopher Abbott) and Charles (Mike Faist) as viewers experience darker side of the California dream in this limited Netflix series.

About the series: The rural comedy series returns for a second season in which Banwari Jha (Gajraj Rao) and his family fall into some new schemes. The patriarch tries to erect a new mobile tower on his land, while Roshini (Shivani Raghuvanshi) aims to pass her SSC exam with the help of Amavas (Bhuvan Arora) and her brother Bhugol (Sparsh Shrivastava). Renuka Shahane, Yashpal Sharma, and Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua) also star.
Chumbak Part 2

About the series: Backed by the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai duo, Aatish Kapadia and JD Majethia, viewers return to the Chumbak Colony for part 2 of the comedy series later this week. The neighbours' friendships in Chumbak will be tested as misunderstandings and other issues linger. Meanwhile, Rajni (Neena Gupta) and Kuku (Deven Bhojani) try to help the families reach a resolution.

About the film: Starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, the Malayalam film sees the stars as opposites in a May December romance. Nivin plays Justin, a bachelor in his thirties, while Mamitha is Ashley, a college student who recently arrives in his neighbourhood. Directed by Girish AD, the rom-com had released in theatres on August 21, 2026, just in time for Onam. However, if you missed in then, you can catch it now from home.
