The official social media handles of the makers of the film series The Devil Wears Prada have announced the advance booking open for The Devil Wears Prada 2 ahead of release on May 1. And with this, audience anticipate the glamourous face-off by the start of the month. The film also has an amazing cast of supporting characters including Emily Blunt as Miranda’s sharp-tongued first assistant Emily Charlton and Stanley Tucci as the charming fashion guru Nigel Kipling.
The sequel is set to continue where the story left with Emily now being the head of a luxury brand that possesses funding which could easily ensure Runway's survival in the fashion market.
The trailer also features Netflix's fan-favourite web series Bridgerton fame Simone Ashley in a much-interrupting role. Along with her, the new cast also includes Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux and BJ Novak.

When Anne Hathaway confirmed The Princess Diaries 3
In October 2024, Anne Hathaway confirmed that the third installment to The Princess Diaries film series is officially in works. For those unaware, the actress rose to fame with the release of her debut film, the first installment in 2001 where she played San Francisco teen Mia Thermopolis, a normal girl who goes from being a slightly aloof and bullied nerd to the only heir to the small European country of Genovia. Adele Lim has returned to Disney to direct the film. It’s the second time Lim will be behind the camera after writing Disney’s animated 2021 movie, Raya and the Last Dragon.
