The Tamil film that will hit screens after Vijay's new government takes charge will be Suriya’s Karuppu, in which Trisha Krishnan stars alongside him. Amid rumours about the film’s delay, the makers of the film directed by RJ Balaji shared a new poster featuring Trisha and Suriya, reiterating the release date as May 14.
The new poster shows Trisha and Suriya sitting opposite each other, exchanging smiles, hinting at the chemistry they previously shared in films such as Mounam Pesiyadhe and Aaru. Fans are celebrating the timing of the release, as Vijay and Trisha’s closeness has been a major talking point recently. The film Karuppu faced several delays before finally locking its release date. Fans are also excited after the teaser was released online, with many Thalapathy Vijay fans comparing Trisha’s acting style in the teaser to the way Vijay has performed in some of his films.
