What is the story about?
The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards were held in Los Angeles on Sunday night (September 27). At the Peacock Theatre, many big names from the music industry
were honoured with the prestigious award, which is also known as a Moon Person (or seven). Madonna, BTS and Taylor Swift turned out to take home big honours at the award ceremony. Especially, the Joker II actress took home 7 prizes, including onstage wins. Blackpink’s LISA also won the first prize of the night. For the unversed, VMAs 2026 was hosted by Snoop Dogg, and it aired live Sunday night.

She said, “I really want you to know that I spent the last year and a half finding myself, believing in myself, and really making the music that I wanted to make. And to me, that really is the definition of being an artist, and my hope for all of you here tonight is that you spend the next year, or the next 10 years, or the rest of your life, doing the same: finding yourself and believing in yourself.” Madonna thanked each one of them associated with her project.
