Sriram Raghavan’s biographical war drama Ikkis, featuring Agastya Nanda, Dharmendra in his final on-screen appearance, and Jaideep Ahlawat, is gearing
up for its release on January 1, 2026. After unveiling the first trailer in October, the makers recently dropped the final trailer just two weeks ahead of the film’s release. Ikkis stars Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda in the role of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, one of India’s bravest soldiers and the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. The movie also marks the debut of Simar Bhatia - Akshay's Niece. On Saturday, Akshay penned an heartwarming note as his niece Simar Bhatia prepares to make her big-screen debut with Ikkis.Akshay also honoured late legendary actor Dharmendra in his special post and shared that the movie is special as it will be the last time he graced the screen.

Ikkis is an upcoming biographical war drama based on the life of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest Indian Army officer to receive the Param Vir Chakra posthumously for his bravery during the 1971 Battle of Basantar. Agastya Nanda plays the role of Arun, while veteran actor Dharmendra appears for the last time on screen as his father, Brigadier M. L. Khetarpal.
