The Animal star, who was previously sporting just a moustache for the retro romantic drama, seems to have switched up his look for the new schedule. Reports suggest that Ranbir and Vicky will be pitted against each other in an intense rivalry. Bhansali has already filmed some high-voltage confrontation scenes. Speculation is rife that the film draws inspiration from Raj Kapoor, Vyjayanthimala, and Rajendra Kumar’s classic Sangam, while some online users have compared it to Ben Affleck’s Pearl Harbor. However, the makers are yet to unveil the first-look posters or teaser. Slated for a 2026 release, Love And War is slated for one of the year’s biggest box-office clashes, going head-to-head with Yash’s much-anticipated pan-India film Toxic.
