About Maatrubhumi
Originally announced as Battle of Galwan, Salman Khan's upcoming film has since been renamed Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace. The Apoorva Lakhia directorial is currently in the post-production stage and has reportedly undergone several changes since it was first announced. The makers unveiled the new title in March, following which reports suggested that the film's climax and Salman's character arc had been reworked. The revised version also reportedly received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Maatrubhumi was initially scheduled for a theatrical release on April 17, 2026. However, it missed its release date as the makers continued working on the film's storyline and overall presentation. The new release date is yet to be announced.
