Speaking after the success of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, Nivin Pauly revealed that Dulquer Salmaan and him recently discussed the possibility of collaborating again. Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan is preparing for the release of his upcoming Malayalam film I’m Game. Directed by RDX filmmaker Nahas Hidhayath, the action thriller is now scheduled to reach theatres on September 3.
Nivin Pauly And Dulquer Salmaan Discuss New Collaboration
Nivin Pauly revealed that he and Dulquer Salmaan are interested in working together again, although a project is yet to be finalised.
Speaking to Cue Studio after the release of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, Nivin said the two actors reconnected at an awards function and discussed a possible collaboration. “Dulquer and I are both keen to do it. We need a script that makes both of us happy, and a director who is available and willing to do it,” Nivin said. Dulquer Salmaan congratulated him following the August 21 release of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit and once again brought up the idea of working together. Nivin added that they would like to find a suitable script that could potentially be ready for Onam 2027.
Meanwhile, the makers of Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju’s Bethlehem Kudumba Unit have urged audiences not to record or share clips and key scenes from the film on social media amid its strong box office run. The Bhavana Studios-backed film’s team shared a message on social media on Monday, captioned “REQUEST YOUR ATTENTION”, thanking viewers for their overwhelming response while requesting them to preserve the theatrical experience for others.
Dulquer Salmaan’s Next Film I’m Game
I’m Game marks Dulquer’s return to Malayalam cinema in a leading role after King of Kotha, which was released in 2023. He plays Dan John, a character deeply involved in gambling and someone who places greater faith in algorithms than luck.
The cast also includes Antony Varghese, Tamil filmmaker Mysskin, Kathir, Kayadu Lohar and Samyuktha Viswanathan. Nahas has written the story, while Bilal Moidu, Ismail Aboobacker and Sajeer Baba have worked on the screenplay. Dialogues have been penned by RDX writers Shahabas Rasheed and Aadarsh Sukumaran. I’m Game features cinematography by Jimshi Khalid, music by Jakes Bejoy and editing by Chaman Chakko, while action choreography is handled by Anbariv. The film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under the banner of Wayfarer Films.
