According to him, creative choices are driven by conviction rather than public pressure. He said that even after facing backlash over L2: Empuraan, audience interest in the franchise remains strong. He shared that people continue to approach him with curiosity about the third installment.
While confirming his plans to eventually move forward with Empuraan 3, Prithviraj spoke about the practical challenges that could delay production. One of the key factors is the availability of Mohanlal, whose schedule needs to be checked before planning the film. He also said that he has existing directorial commitments to other producers that must be completed before he can fully focus on the next chapter of the franchise.
