The Neal ’n’ Nikki actress was the latest guest on Farah's YouTube channel. Tanishaa welcomed Farah and Dilip to her house to give them the grand tour. During a conversation with Farah, Tanishaa revealed that the furniture in the house has come from her old home when she used to live in South Mumbai with her mother, veteran actress Tanuja, in an apartment. She said, "This is all my mum’s furniture because my dad was not a very homely person."
When Farah asked what her sister Kajol's contribution was in all this, Tanishaa shared that she paid for it and confirmed, "She signs the cheque books.” The actress has spent a lot of time putting together her Mumbai home; she has been living there for 14 years. The apartment has a large terrace, which Tanishaa uses for parties, and the actress loves tending to her plants.
Tanishaa also told Farah that several cousins, including War 2 director Ayan Mukerji and the sons of Joy Mukherjee, reside nearby. Her father, Shomu Mukherjee, is the son of storied filmmaker Sashadhar Mukherjee, who was part of the early days of Indian cinema. Tanishaa shared that a documentary on her legendary grandfather is in the works and would be released eventually by the family

Other notable films include Neal ’n’ Nikki, Sarkar, and Sarkar Raj. She was last seen in the feature film Luv You Shankar (2024) and has the film Veer Murarbaji lined up. Tanishaa was first runner-up on Bigg Boss 7 in 2013 and was part of the reality series Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.
