What is the story about?
Ranbir Kapoor and Yash are all set to feature in one of the biggest films made in Indian cinema, Ramayana. The first part, titled Ramayana Part 1, is releasing
on Diwali 2026. Ahead of its grand release, the makers kickstarted its promotions. Earlier this morning, Ranbir Kapoor and Yash were spotted at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport’s Terminal 2 in Mumbai as they jetted off to the US to launch Ramayana trailer at San Diego Comic-Con, which will be held in California from July 23 to July 26. The duo sported an all-black look while leaving for a prestigious event.
Ranbir Kapoor And Yash Leave For San Diego Comic-Con
In a viral video, Ranbir Kapoor was seen getting out of his car and greeted paps with a smile. He looked dapper in a black jacket, t-shirt and charcoal-black cargo pants. He sported the sunglasses as he suffered an eye infection a few days ago. Ranbir didn’t interact with paps and quickly entered the departure gate of the airport.
On the other hand, Yash also sported an all-black look, but unlike Ranbir, he waved at the paps and posed for pictures. He greeted them with a smile and expressed gratitude. Their visit to Comic-Con is going to be a special one, as they will be launching the Ramayana trailer.
When Is Ramayana Trailer Releasing In India?
The makers have earlier revealed that the Ramayana trailer will be dropped on YouTube and social media handles on July 24, 2026. The trailer was first launched in New Delhi, in the presence of the cast, politicians and celebrities. Now, all fans are waiting to witness the small glimpse of the Ramayana part 1 on the big screen.
Who Is Playing What In Ramayana Part 1?
Ramayana Part 1 is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Produced by Namit Malhotra, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Yash as Lord Rama and Ravana, respectively. South Indian actress Sai Pallavi is essaying the role of Sita in the film. Famous TV actor Ravi Dubey is playing the role of Lakshman in the film. Sunny Deol is portraying the role of Hanuman.
Apart from these key characters, Ramayana also features Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, Kunal Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Shobana, Vivek Oberoi, Indira Krisnna, Sheeba Chaddha, Arun Govil, Shishir Sharma, Ajinkkya Deo, Mohit Raina, Anupam Kher, Addinath Kothare and others in key roles. The second part of Ramayana will release in Diwali 2027.
