BTS member V seems to be taking things on an unexpected tangent with his rare glimpses from the upcoming TYPE 非 photobook. The images that have so far
been revealed by the K-pop artist are nowhere close to how we've seen Kim Taehyung before. Infact, the clicks have left fans wide-eyed with his barely recognisable glance. V, who celebrated a fun-filled birthday on December 30 alongside his bandmates Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, Jimin and Jungkook, has also been on the sides, trying out a variety of new concepts for the photobook. And ARMYs have comfortably concluded that the clicks project V in a bold and extravagant avatar. Taehyung is seen going over-the-top in every photo. From sporting blue eyeshadow to a smudgy lipstick, coloured lenses, and even spiked hair, this is an absolutely different look of the 30-year-old we haven't seen ever.
About V's TYPE 非 photobook
TYPE 非 is a 278-page hardcover that follows V's 2024 debut TYPE 1 while exploring fluidity and defying labels across 20 chapters he helped plan and photograph. Its pre-orders opened on December 31, 2025 on Weverse Shop and others, and has been priced around $40-50. The global shipping begins from January 19. The photobook will include some unreleased photos too. HYBE also announced the immersive ON-SITE IN SEOUL exhibition from January 20 to February 1, featuring media art tied to the book's themes.
The official social media handles of BTS posted several photos and a video of V from the project on December 31. The black-and-white video shows V bare-chested in a close shot. His teary eyes and his performqance have pushed fans from asking for his acting comeback.

ARMYs errupted in reactions. A fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "The world of cinema is waiting for you, Kim Taehyung, and we're already making the popcorn... You speak without opening your mouth and express yourself by touching the heart." Another one said, "The eyes of Kim Taehyung #V always tell us so much. Can't wait to see what else he'll show in this new project."
A fan commented, "Taehyung is slowly unleashing his potential inside. He’s one to watch for sure." A second one said "Wow for hot bod. But even bigger wow for his mind blowing acting on that small concept video. I’m still feeling emotional watching the range of emotions of sorrow and melancholy in his face. V continues to remain the most popular K-pop idols in the world, whose global domination continues to soar with every passing day. As fans await the big comeback of BTS with a new album and a world tour in 2026, V is only set to add more features to his cap in the coming year.
