What is the story about?
The blockbuster success of Dhurandhar has left actor Arjun Rampal and the entire team overwhelmed, emotional, and still trying to process the film’s massive
impact. Directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, the spy-action franchise has shattered multiple box office records and emerged as one of the biggest cinematic phenomena in Indian film history. While fans continue celebrating the film’s success, Arjun revealed that the cast and crew are still in disbelief over the response pouring in from across the globe. He also shared how Aditya Dhar is handling the frenzy after delivering one of Indian cinema’s biggest hits.
Arjun Rampal Says Dhurandhar Team Is Still In Shock
Speaking to NDTV, Arjun Rampal admitted that the scale of Dhurandhar’s success has gone far beyond what anyone associated with the film had imagined. Reflecting on the overwhelming reception, the actor said he still finds himself “pinching” himself to believe what has happened.
Calling the experience phenomenal, Arjun said the entire team has been flooded with gratitude and excitement after witnessing audiences turn the film into a nationwide celebration. According to him, nobody expected the film to create such an enormous impact at the box office and in pop culture.
The actor also revealed that the cast and crew have remained closely connected after the film’s release and continue to discuss the surreal phase they are going through. When asked about director Aditya Dhar and the atmosphere within the team, Arjun jokingly remarked, “They’re all Dhurandhars,” before adding that everyone is still in shock because of the “dopamine” surrounding the film’s success. Interestingly, Arjun shared that amid the celebrations, several members of the team are trying to stay spiritually grounded. He revealed that cinematographer Vikash Nowlakha has reportedly joined a monastery to reconnect with himself and find balance after the whirlwind success.
Talking about Aditya Dhar, Arjun said the filmmaker has been visiting temples and spending quiet time there. According to him, Aditya prefers finding peace and grounding himself spiritually instead of getting carried away by the frenzy surrounding the blockbuster.
