On Sunday, January 11, the show completed 2,000 episodes and to celebrate the milestone, the show's producer Ektaa Kapoor took to social media to pen a special note thanking the cast and crew of the show.

In a detailed note, Ektaa Kapoor wrote, "It took us 25 years to complete 2000! Just for completing this milestone, we decided to bring the 25 year old show back ! Thank you, everyone esp mum Amar Smriti Rajubhai tanu Anantika Sidharth Varun Prabhjot Shweta Dheeraj and rest of the team at Balaji n kyunki , thank you!
