of the areas worst hit by the devastating floods in Nepal on Wednesday (September 2). In a viral video, Sood is seen interacting with the locals and understanding the situation on the ground. He spoke to them about their experiences and expressed his concern for those affected by the floods. He also interacted with the media and gave assurance to the people of Nepal. He also lauded the Indian government’s relief support to the neighbouring country.
Sonu Sood Highlights Impact Of Flash Floods In Nepal
Sonu Sood had an interaction with ANI, where he opened up about providing aid for the people of Nepal so that they can again stand back on their feet. He praised the Indian government for their phenomenal work and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the kind of help he has been providing to Nepal.
The actor said, “I think we should keep on continuing sending this aid because they need it and on the ground when I come when I meet those families I know that it's not going to get resolved in couple of weeks or months it's something that we have to keep on sending, continuing our support and I think that's the only way we can get them back to their normal lives.”

Sonu landed in Kathmandu on Tuesday (September 9) with relief supplies for flash flood victims. Apart from the Dabangg star, actors like Sanjay Dutt, Bhumi Pednekar, Manisha Koirala, Rohit Saraf, Amitabh Bachchan and others expressed their concerns over the worst situation in Nepal after floods.
About Nepal Flash Floods
The condition in the neighbouring country is concerning as the floods have caused extensive loss of life in Nepal. The death toll in the Nepal floods has risen to 1127, as informed by the Nepal Police on Wednesday.
The cops reportedly recovered 45 bodies from Rasuwa, 155 from Nuwakot, 59 from Dhading, 3348 from Chitwan, 66 from Gorkha, 38 from Tanahun, 217 from Nawalparasi East, 190 from Nawalparasi West and 9 bodies in India. They have handed over 95 dead bodies to families after identification.
Over thousands of people are still missing. The search operation is still going on in Nepal. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a specialised international tunnel rescue team from India and China have been mobilised alongside the Nepal Army at the critical hydropower sites following Bhote Koshi River floods.
