Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia's The Vvaan has landed in troubled waters! An artist named Sargam Vaish claimed that the makers used his music without
his permission in the film's official trailer. A few hours ago, Sargam posted a video and shared a 'bad news' with his followers. He revealed that he had been working on a project for three years. A song from the same project has been allegedly been used in The Vvaan's trailer. The artist claimed that 25 seconds of his song Aigiri Nandini are a part of it. In the video, he added a screenshot of his music which was apparently modified on March 9, 2024. He claimed that the 'production and vocal' have been utilised as it is. Sargam further requested the makers to remove his song from the trailer and the film. He also warned them of legal action.
Sargam Vaish: Remove my song from The Vvaan
Taking to his Instagram handle, Sargam Vaish shared a note alongwith his video message for The Vvaan makers. The artist said, "REMOVE MY SONG FROM THE VVAAN I recently came across the “THE VVAAN – Official Trailer” and noticed that my original song has been used in it without my permission or consent. I have not given permission for my music to be used in the trailer or for its promotion."
The artist added that it is important for him as he has already signed the work with a major music labela and unauthorised use could affect his existing contract. According to him, every artist deserves to have their work respected. He belives that no artist's work should be used without their permission. He went on to request the concerned team to remove his music and directly contact him.
"If there is any valid permission or license for its use, I would appreciate being provided the details. I’m sharing this here because I genuinely need your support. Please share this post and help me reach the right people. Thank you to everyone who stands with independent artists and respects their work," he added.

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, The Vvaan will be released theatrically on September 25. Produced by Ektaa Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Niraj Kothari and Arunabh Kumar, the movie was initially scheduled for May release.
