Janhvi Kapoor has extended her support to Veer Pahariya’s upcoming film Prem Keetanu by sharing the film's teaser on her Instagram Stories. Veer, who is the brother of Janhvi’s boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya, features as the central character in the romantic comedy directed by Apoorv Singh Karki. Sharing the teaser, Janhvi cheered for Veer and wrote, "Veeru!!! Fresh young fun and masti," accompanied by party, fire and red heart emojis. She further tagged him and added, "Can’t wait for this!!!"

Prem Keetanu revolves around a free-spirited college student and his experiences during his hostel days. The teaser introduces Veer as a quintessential backbencher who appears to embrace everything that comes with college life, from bunking classes and late-night parties to friendships and romantic adventures.
The film,which is reportedly a remake of Premalu, looks to explore the various firsts that shape a young person’s college years, including dating, heartbreak and discovering oneself. Veer’s character appears to be caught between the carefree madness of student life and the emotional experiences that come with growing up. Aafiya Sayed appears to play his love interest in the film.
Alongside Veer and Aafiya, Prem Keetanu features Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay in prominent roles. The ensemble cast is expected to bring together different shades of the college and hostel experience, with humour and friendship forming a key part of the narrative.
The film is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, who has previously helmed projects including Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai and Aspirants. With Prem Keetanu, the filmmaker is stepping into a lighter, more youthful space. Talking about the film he said, "I am really excited to bring Prem Keetanu to the audience.
