During an interview with THR India, actress Shruti Haasan powerfully expressed, "When I spoke up, I got comments like, ‘oh, yeh to plastic surgery ki dukaan hai’ (oh, she is full of plastic surgery). But I know what and how much I have done, and how much more others have. That’s the price you pay for honesty. It is okay. And I never promote it. This is my choice.”

She concluded by saying, "In love, in life, in work, fingers will always be pointed at you for blowing the whistle or speaking the truth or calling something out for what it is. But what a good price to pay."
When Shruti Haasan was stopped by security to go watch her own film
Last week, the actress was stopped by the security while arriving at Vettri Theatres in Chennai to watch the first show of Coolie. A short video of the moment has gone viral, showing the actor and her friends laughing as a security guard checks their car.
Shruti herself laughs out loud and says, "I’m in the movie. Please allow me, anna. I’m the heroine sir."
Coolie box office collection
Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, outperformed its competition, raking in around Rs 9.50 crore on August 18. This boost pushed Coolie’s total to RS 216 crore, making it a historic success in just six days.
