Several users called the film Lokesh Kanagaraj's weakest film, while others called it a decent watch. Many questioned Lokesh Kanagaraj's style of story telling, and asked why he needed to make a multi-starrer with Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir and Upendra.
One X user said it is not Loki's best "Saw it in theatre, but recently saw in OTT too, it was still an engaging movie, missing out some high moments like Vikram interval, Leo cafe fight, Kaithi machine gun scene, but it was gripping and a decent film, a 7.5/10, not the best of Loki but a good one"
Another said "One of the worst films of 2025 , with big cast, it's like compromising on story for the cast rather than to focus on the story, first three is no story at all."

Coolie produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures also features Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde in special appearances. In the film, a former coolie union leader investigates the death of his friend which leads him to a drug syndicate.
The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj. Despite the mixed reviews, it is the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025, the third highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 and the fourth highest-grossing Tamil film of all time.
