Following a second round of gunfire at Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Canada in less than a month, Salman Khan has been dragged into the spotlight. According
to an audio message allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the attacks were triggered because Kapil invited Salman to the launch of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The audio carries chilling threats. In it, a gangster claims that anyone from the film industry who shows support or closeness to Salman Khan will be targeted. The warning was blunt and even hinted at plans for major attacks in Mumbai. Salman, notably, appeared in the first episode of season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show, which premiered on June 21. Security officials in India, however, are cautious about jumping to conclusions. Sources say they have not verified the authenticity of the audio, pointing out that Salman's appearance on the show happened well before the latest attack.
