SS Rajamouli reviews Ramayana Part 1
On X (formerly Twitter), SS Rajamouli stated that the sheer scale of Ramayana Part 1 and the visuals on the big screen were spectacular to watch. The filmmaker wrote, "Ranbir as Rama, especially from the Vanavasam onwards, is serene yet magnificent. Yash brings a menacing presence as Ravana, while Sai Pallavi is graceful as Sita. The pre-climax and climax… loved every bit of it."
Rajamouli went on to praise producer Namit Malhotra, director Tiwari and the entire team of the India film for bringing such an ambitious vision so beautifully to the big screen. The screenplay for the feature film has been co-written by Shridhar Raghavan and Nitesh Tiwari. While much of the second part has already been completed, it will be a while before audiences get to view it. Producer Malhotra shared that Part 2 has been postponed from 2027 to Diwali 2028 so that more time can be spent on separate master edits and the English-version refinement of the film.
