What is the story about?
After a long wait, CM Vijay’s last film, Jana Nayagan, finally arrived in theatres on July 23, 2026. The Thalapathy started the celebration, as they will
see him as an actor for the last time on the big screen. The first-day-first-show has ended in Mumbai, and as expected, it turned out to be housefull. The first 9 am show has started in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Vijay’s Jana Nayagan is special in many ways. The makers paid tribute to the actor in the end-credit scene. Interestingly, some of Vijay’s favourite directors like Atlee, Nelson Dilipkumar and Lokesh Kanagaraj made their cameos in Jana Nayagan. (Warning: Spoiler Alert)
Vijay’s Directors In Jana Nayagan End Credit Scene
Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan is the most special film of his career. It has to be noted that the actor has become the first-sitting Chief Minister whose film was released in theatres. During his political campaigns, Vijay had confessed that Jana Nayagan will be his last film as an actor. He has taken his retirement from acting and surrendered himself fully into politics.
Coming back to Jana Nayagan, the end-credit scene of the Vijay starrer is going viral on social media, in which one can see three directors who worked with the former actor a lot have done cameo appearances in Jana Nayagan. Nelson Dilipkumar, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee did cameos in Jana Nayagan to pay tributes to Thalapathy Vijay.
Apart from that, a special tribute to Vijay in an end credit scene will surely melt hearts of the masses. Some Vijay fans could also get teary-eyed after watching Vijay for the last time on the big screen.
Vijay’s Collaboration With Nelson Dilipkumar, Atlee And Lokesh Kanagaraj
Vijay has collaborated with all three directors who appeared in the Jana Nayagn’s end-credit scene. With Nelson, Vijay worked on only one big film, Beast (2022). On the other hand, the former actor has worked with Atlee on three films, like Theri (2016), Mersal (2017) and Bigil (2019). With Lokesh Kanagaraj, the actor worked on two big and successful films like Master (2021) and Leo (2023).
