Prabhas fans are counting the days to Sankranthi as the superstar’s highly anticipated film, The Raja Saab, is set to hit theatres on January 9. The film marks
his grand return to the big screen after Nag Ashwin’s science-fiction epic Kalki 2898 AD, which released last year. Ahead of the festive release, the makers are set to launch the trailer today (Sunday, December 28). Adding to the buzz, a grand pre-release event was held in Hyderabad, where the Saaho star addressed fans. He promised a superb climax and lauded director Maruthi for his vision. The Raja Saab Is SUPERB: Prabhas Prabhas said, "I’m just speechless. Yes, it’s you (audience) who ultimately needs to judge the film, but for me it’s a superb climax. Maruthi darling, did you write the climax with pen or machine gun?" Meanwhile, an emotional Maruthi promised the superstar's fans, "If even 1% of you are disappointed in the film, both Rebel Star fans and family, you can come to my house and question me – Villa No. 17, Kolla Luxuria, Kondapur!" Prabhas On The Raja Saab's Big Sankranthi Box Office Clash Sankranthi 2026 will also see the release of Vijay’s Jana Nayakudu, Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, Ravi Teja’s RT76, also titled Bhartha Mahasayulaki Vignyapthi and among others. But Prabhas is confident about his horror fantasy film. Extending his best wishes to all the other releases, he gave a shoutout to his seniors. The actor said, "I wish all the Sankranthi releases become blockbusters. It will be great if our film also succeeds (laughs). I always respect seniors, and I learnt a lot from them. We are only after them. The trailer will come out tomorrow and it will showcase the film’s span. It’s gonna be massive."
