film have been accused of alleged fraud, misbehaviour, and breach of trust during production of the film. Prateek Raj Mathur has alleged that he was contracted to be a line producer on the film, but his position was later cancelled.

According to a report in the Press Trust of India (PTI), complainant Prateek Raj Mathur has claimed that he was given a contract as a line producer by the filmmaker, but the contract was cancelled. Circle Officer Vishal Jangid of Bikaner Sadar said that Mathur has accused the director and two of his team members of removing him from the project without payment after assigning him responsibilities as the line producer.
On Monday, September 1, an FIR was registered against Bhansali, Arvind Gill, and Utkarsh Bali at Bichhwal police station following a court order on charges of fraud, criminal conspiracy, and criminal intimidation by Mathur. The Radha Films and Hospitality CEO Mathur has also alleged that he made the necessary arrangements for Love & War's shoot and even coordinated with government departments.

But Bhansali and the other team members reportedly misbehaved with him when he met up with them at a hotel on 17 August and allegedly threatened Mathur and his company’s future projects. The matter is being investigated by Bichhwal SHO Govind Singh Charan.
