Akshay Kumar’s Welcome to the Jungle, featuring an ensemble cast of over 30 actors, has faced multiple delays. However, the multi-starrer comedy is now
slated for a 2026 release. On Christmas, Akshay confirmed the update and shared a special promo from the film. It featured Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Aftab Shivdasani, Rajpal Yadav, and other cast members in never-seen-before avatars. Sharing the video, Akki also announced the film’s wrap. Welcome To The Jungle New Clip, Release, More! Produced by Firoz A Nadiadwala, the multi-starrer comedy is directed by Ahmed Khan. It is part of the popular Welcome franchise. While the official release date is awaited, reports say that the movie will arrive in cinema halls in mid-2026.
The Welcome franchise began with the first film releasing in 2007, followed by its sequel, Welcome Back, in 2015. Akshay and actress Katrina Kaif headlined the original, which also featured Anil Kapoor, Mallika Sherawat, Paresh Rawal and Nana Patekar in key roles. Meanwhile, the second instalment saw John Abraham and Shruti Haasan step into the lead roles. It was met with mixed reactions by critics and the audience.
