After facing a few delays, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri's Dhadak 2 has finally hit the big screen (August 1). Written and directed by Shazia Iqbal,
the romantic drama is a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal. The initial critical reviews for Dhadak 2 have been positive, while the audience feedback is yet to come. Dhadak 2 OTT release
Dhadak 2 will continue to enjoy a theatrical run for some days before its heads for a digital release. Once the film's cinematic run is over, it will premiere on a leading OTT giant. As mentioned the film's poster, Siddhant and Triptii's romantic saga will stream on Netflix.
That said, the makers haven't made an official announcement about Dhadak 2's OTT release date yet. Produced by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions, and Cloud 9 Pictures, Dhadak 2 was initially scheduled for a big screen release on November 22, 2024. The film's release was delayed a few times, reportedly to certification issues by CBFC.

Triptii Dimri praises Dhadak 2 co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi
Meanwhile, in an interview with IANS, Triptii lauded her Dhadak 2 co-star Siddhant and mentioned how his performance deeply moved her. "It was honestly wonderful. He’s such a dedicated and sincere actor. (laughs) Though I’ve been paid to say this—the money will be transferred after the first of August! On a serious note, he’s poured his heart and soul into the role. When I watched the film for the first time, I immediately called him and told him, This is the best performance of your career so far. And I truly hope the audience sees that too," she said.
