Saad Bilgrami’s performance as Raunak in Dhadak 2 has made him a nationwide sensation for the right reason. A portrayal so impactful that the audience
loves to hate him, and he doesn’t complain. After seven years of hustle and unique characters, Saad found his due recognition with Dhadak 2, co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. Amid buzzing phones and constant messages, Saad spoke to Zoom exclusively and opened up about breaking the ice with his co-stars.
Saad Bilgrami praises Dhadak 2 co-stars
Saad said Siddhant and Triptii don’t have starry auras and were extremely warm and supportive towards him. Talking about Triptii, he said, “Animal tab aayi nahi thi, maine Triptii ko Bulbbul and Qala mein dekha tha aur bohot accha laga tha unka kaam. She’s such a generous actor.”

He further added, “Triptii, Siddhant aur main pehli baar reading pe mile the. Tab sab shaant the. Main antagonist play kar raha tha toh uske liye workshops hue. Ekdum se gussa karna, chillana, inn sabke liye workshop zaruri tha. Shoot karte waqt maza aaya.”
Showering love on Siddhant, Saad shared, “Siddhant is like my elder brother. We share a great relationship. Whenever I needed guidance, he supported me. I didn’t feel like he’s a star. Siddhant and Triptii made me feel comfortable. Triptii thanked me for making her feel comfortable during our difficult scenes. They’re down-to-earth and fantastic people.”
