As per a report in Bombay Times, producer Rodrigo Espinel confirmed at the ongoing International Film Festival of Delhi that production will start in June, 2026. He shared that the project came together after a Mexican producing partner acquired the IP rights and reached out, noting Spain’s attractive tax incentives. He added that the story lends itself well to Spanish culture, and the film will feature a Spanish director along with a leading local cast.
