Marvel is bringing more treats for its Indian fans this weekend. Those who'd be watching Spider-Man: Brand New Day in cinemas on July 30 will also get
their first theatrical glimpse at Avengers: Doomsday, with the official trailer being attached to all Indian screenings of the upcoming Spidey movie. This comes in addition to Marvel's offer of premiering the Tom Holland-led mega film in India a day ahead of its global release on July 31. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth iteration in MCU's massively successful franchise. The film also brings back Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, along with Mark Ruffalo, while marking the MCU debut of Stranger Things star Sadie Sink. Spider-Man: Brand New Day opens in cinemas on July 30, and all the major language versions released in India are expected to carry the Avengers: Doomsday trailer ahead of the main feature. This would allow Indian audiences to be among the first to see the much-anticipated footage on the largest screen possible, before it goes wide, giving them a more immersive experience, adding another layer of excitement to what is already one of the biggest theatrical releases of the year.
First look at Marvel's next event movie on big screen
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe marches towards the end of its Multiverse Saga, the Avengers: Doomsday trailer will give fans the first official look at the next crossover event from Marvel Studios, bringing together heroes from across several different franchises.
Doomsday's huge cast of characters
Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and features one of the largest ensemble casts ever assembled for a Marvel film. It includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Pedro Pascal, Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Vanessa Kirby, Tom Hiddleston, David Harbour, Simu Liu, Letitia Wright, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Joseph Quinn, Channing Tatum, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, Kathryn Newton, Wyatt Russell, Winston Duke, Danny Ramirez, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Mabel Cadena and Tenoch Huerta Mejía.
Marvel describes the film as a massive crossover that unites heroes from across the franchise to fight an unprecedented threat. The film will release in theatres on December 18, 2026 in English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.
Spider-Man is back for new chapter
Meanwhile, before Doomsday, Tom Holland is back as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, along with Zendaya as MJ. The story will reportedly explore the fallout of Spider-Man being ostracised after the events of the last film.
Apart from the confirmed Doomsday trailer, there are also reports that the upcoming Ramayana trailer might also be attached to Spider-Man: Brand New Day in some markets, since both are Sony Pictures projects.
