Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 brings back Rajinikanth as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, with the megastar once again stepping into the shoes of the retired jailer. The sequel also promises a much bigger ensemble. SJ Suryah, Vidya Balan, Mithun Chakraborty ,and Suraj Venjaramoodu are among the new additions, while Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Mirnaa, Shiva Rajkumar, and Mohanlal return from the first film.
With Anirudh Ravichander returning as the composer, the trailer also packs in plenty of music and background-score moments designed for the big screen. Jailer 2 is scheduled to release worldwide on October 15
