As India commemorates its 79th Independence Day this Friday, several Bollywood celebrities took to social media to extend warm wishes to their fellow citizens.
Bollywood stars like Mrunal Thakur, Anupam Kher, Sonu Sood, Vikrant Massey and others have extended wishes to all on the special ocassion. To make it extra special for his fans, Salman has shared a video in which he is seen singing Saare Jahan Se Accha .
Salman Khan sings Saare Jahan Se Accha on Independence Day 2025
The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor took to his official Instagram handle and wrote, "Happy Independence Day." Alongside the post, Salman Khan, known for lending his voice to songs in films like Kick and Hero, shared a clip in which the Sikandar actor is seen singing Saare Jahan Se Accha, a song that echoes the spirit of patriotism and his love for the nation. The clip has gone viral on social media. Visibly emotional throughout the performance, he concluded the video by folding his hands and offering his signature salaam to his fans.

Salman set to play soldier in Battle of Galwan
Salman Khan is set to portray an Indian soldier in the upcoming film Battle of Galwan, which is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese forces. According to reports by India Today and The Times of India, Khan’s character is inspired by Colonel B Santosh Babu, who led Indian troops during the conflict.Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film also features Chitrangda Singh in a key role. To prepare for the demanding part, Khan has reportedly undergone a significant physical transformation, cutting out alcohol and junk food, reducing carbs, and focusing on intensive weight training and cardio. He’s also training in a high-pressure chamber to acclimate to the high-altitude conditions of Ladakh, where the film's first schedule will be shot. Additional filming is set to take place in Mumbai.
