Queen and Tanu Weds Manu are among her critically acclaimed films, with the second part of Tanu Weds Manu also receiving wide appreciation. Now, as per a report by a news portal, the actress is gearing up for the upcoming installments of both films.
All About Queen 2, Tanu Weds Manu 3
As reported by Pinkvilla, Kangana will begin shooting for Vikas Bahl's Queen 2 in November this year. A source told the news portal, “Vikas Bahl has locked the script of Queen 2, and is presently on a recce in the UK. Much like the first part, the sequel too is set in India and overseas. One of the international locations identified by Vikas Bahl and team is London.”
The same source also revealed that after Queen 2, Kangana will start filming Tanu Weds Manu 3 with Anand L. Rai, where she will be seen opposite R. Madhavan. The source added, “Anand L. Rai has already written the script of Tanu Weds Manu 3, and aims to take the film on floors by early 2026, post the release of his next directorial – Tere Ishk Mein.”
“The film will mark the reunion of Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan. The script has shaped up well, and the makers are excited to take the film on floors,” the source further shared.
On the work front, Kangana was last seen in Emergency, where she played the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film faced multiple delays and finally hit the screens on January 17, 2025. It received mixed reviews and is currently available on the OTT platform Netflix.
