Jana Nayagan, the Thalapathy Vijay starrer, has received an outpour of love from fans and audiences globally. Music director of the film, Anirudh Ravichander,
has shared his reactions after coming out of the FDFS. Fellow industry mates, friends, and co-stars are also celebrating the film with the same zeal as the followers flocking to the cinemas. The film’s long-awaited release was followed by celebrations inside the theatres, by offering garlands to CM Vijay, and some even lighting firecrackers. To someone like Anirudh, who has worked very closely with Thalapathy in the film, this was very emotional.
Jana Nayagan Music Director Anirudh Turns Emotional
After the thumping arrival of Thalapathy Vijay’s movie Jana Nayagan today, July 23, the fans are on cloud nine across the country. One such is the music director himself. In a conversation with PTI, Anirudh revealed, “It is a very surreal and emotional moment for me.” He later added how the whole team felt the same.
According to Anirudh, the movie is also emotional because of the struggles that it went through before the release and “for the audience to enjoy it.” The Jana Nayagan Music director felt “very emotional” while sitting with the fans and watching it. He reflected on how, for the last time, fans were screaming and enjoying for the Thalapathy Vijay starrer, which adds to his sentiments.
CM Vijay’s Bid To The Cinema World
Jana Nayagan stands as the farewell movie for all Thalapathy Vijay fans and audiences pan-India who enjoyed his craft for the past many years. As he has taken a plunge into his political career, this movie is touted as his last. The film is more than just a commercial entertainer. It replicates Vijay’s real-life political aspirations.
Thalapathy Vetri Kondan (Vijay), as a former police officer, steps in front as the guardian of a young girl, who is swept away in the circle of corruption, systematic injustice and a crime lord. Vijay embarks on the path of resistance to end the tyranny.
As recalled by Anirudh himself, the film’s release journey was not ferns and petals. It was scheduled for a release earlier this year, but the certification issues, among others, kept delaying the one last bid.

Thalapathy Vijay is joined by an ensemble cast of Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, and Gautham Vasudev Menon, amongst others, in key roles. H Vinoth also steps in as the film's writer. Anirudh has played a major role in delivering the intense and exciting music scores as the Music Director.
