the duo won the hearts of audiences and created memories for fans. Now, 22 years later, they have created a wave of nostalgia with their reunion. Vijay, who is now the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, was recently visited by Simran and her family, who met him to extend their wishes on his political journey. In separate meetings, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister also met actors Silambarasan TR and Shaam.

Taking to her X account, Simran shared images from her meeting with Vijay. Her husband Deepak Bagga, children Adheep and Aadit were also present in them. Along with it, she also shared a note which read that years after sharing screen space together, it was a pleasure to meet Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay along with her family.
She posted that the warmth, humility and sincerity that endeared him to millions remain unchanged, and praised his passion and vision for the state's progress. The actress also wished him success in leading Tamil Nadu forward. Vijay and Simran's last on-screen appearance was in the film Udhaya. Simran was also seen appear in a special dance number Aalthotta Boopathi in the film Youth.
Silambarasan TR, Shaam Meet TVK Chief
Silambarasan TR S took to social media to share a few photographs from his meeting with the Chief Minister. In the pictures, Silambarasan and Vijay can be seen engaged in conversation and sharing a warm moment. The actor expressed his happiness over the meeting and extended his best wishes to the Chief Minister, wishing him strength, success and divine blessings as he serves the people of Tamil Nadu.
Shaam, who was Vijay's co-star in Varisu along met him. Sharing a picture in which he is seen embracing the TVK chief, Shaam posted a caption 'Love you na'.
Last week Prabhu, his son, actor Vikram Prabhu, and his son-in-law, Adhik Ravichander, met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and shared a special moment with him. Among those who recently met the Chief Minister were veteran actors Parthiban and MS Bhaskar. The duo conveyed their best wishes to Vijay, with MS Bhaskar presenting him a bouquet and Parthiban gifting a framed painting that depicted him as an emperor.
